AC Milan technical director and former captain, Paulo Maldini, and his son, Daniel, have both tested positive for coronovirus.
A club statement said father and son “are well”.
The club added that Daniel Maldini, 18, had been training with the AC Milan first team and that he and his father, 51, had spent two weeks in self-isolation at home and would remain in quarantine “until clinically recovered”.
“Paolo and Daniel are both well and have already completed two weeks at home without contact with others. They will now remain in quarantine until clinically recovered, as per the medical protocols outlined by the health authorities,” the statement said.
