Bauchi Gets Acting Head of Civil Service


Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala  Mohammed has approved with immediate effect, the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar Ma’aji Misau as acting Head of Civil Service.

A statement signed by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Media Comrade Muktar Gidado, indicated that until his appointment, the acting Head of Service was the most senior permanent secretary in the state civil service.

The statement explained that,  Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar joined the service of the state government on 30th September 1985 and he was appointed as permanent secretary on 27th June 2016.

According to the statement, the new Acting Head of Service who took over from the outgoing Head of Service, Alhaji Nasiru Yalwa who has proceeded on retirement from the service, is expected to use his professional competence in the discharge of his assigned responsibilities towards ensuring effective service delivery in the service.

Alhaji Ahmed Abubakar Ma’aji Misau before his appointment as the Acting Head of Civil Service, was the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Power, Science and Technology.
