The outgoing governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson, will hold a special valedictory live media chat on Thursday (today) evening.
According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the media chat will hold at the Governor’s Conference Room, Government House, Yenagoa, at 6pm.
Dickson who will be handing over on Friday (tomorrow) will speak on a wide range of issues, including the Supreme Court judgment which declared the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate, Douye Diri, winner of the state governorship election.
The media chat is the last time the two term governor will address the people of the state and give his stewardship as a governor.
“Governor Dickson, who is the first Two-term Governor of Bayelsa State and serving his last 24 hours in office, will speak on a wide range of issues, including the today’s Supreme Court judgment on the State Governorship election, among others.
