Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring synergy with neighboring states.
The Governor gave the assurance when he received in audience, members of FUNE Emirate Council of Yobe State who paid him a courtesy visit at Ramat House Bauchi.
The Governor, who commended members of the emirate for the visit, pledged to strengthen the relationship between Bauchi and Yobe States.
Governor Mohammed expressed confidence that the visit would motivate him to do more towards providing social services for the well being of the people of the state.
The governor also said, “traditional institutions are complementing government efforts in peace building through enlightening their subjects and I hope the longtime relations between the government and people of Bauchi and Yobe state will be sustained”.
Responding, the leader of the delegation who is also the Emir of FUNE, Dr Sale Idris said the visit was to congratulate the governor on his successful inauguration as the chief security officer of the state.
The Royal father also said, “the emirates deem it necessary to encourage the governor to meet the expectations of the people in view of his performance as FCT minister where he made the north east proud”.
Dr Sale Idris assured Governor Mohammed of the support of both emirates to his administration in order to ensure good governance.
