Odun Polls: PDP Guber Candidate Reels out Achievements as Senator.


Responding to incessant calls for him to list his achievements as a senator, Senator Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the PDP in the September 22 gubernatorial election in Osun State, has reeled out some of the things he has done since he was elected in 2017.

He challenged his constituents to go and verify the claims of achievements.

Writing on his Facebook page on Saturday, Senator Adeleke, representing Osun West, said he was not new to feedback and confrontations and as such was not perturbed when many people demanded to know what he has  done with the senatorial mandate of Osun West Senatorial District since 2017.

He listed some of his achievements in the education sector to include 250million Naira full University scholarship for 50 Students from the 10 Local Government Areas of Osun West Senatorial District and 75million Naira full scholarship for 15 students from other parts of Osun State outside of Osun West.

He also listed a computer literacy training for 100 teachers and provision of computer accessories in addition to the complete renovation of four blocks of eleven vlassrooms at Agbale Grammar School, Ede, Ede North Local Government.

Ademola also listed the rehabilitation of three Classrooms at CAC Grammar School Ede South Local government as well as the rehabilitation of two blocks of nine classrooms at  Orile-Owu Grammar School, Orile-Owu in Ayedaade Local Government.

Also, the PDP governorship candidate listed the constructions of one block of two Classrooms and an office at Igangan high School, Igangan Community Grammar School, Alajue, Ayedire Local Government in addition to the construction of one block of two Classrooms and an office at Community Grammar School, Alajue, Ede South Local Government.

He said his commitment to the development of education in the state was  clearly demonstrated with the projects.

”If so much was done in a year as a fresh Senator, there is so much more we can do in making better the fortunes of our people if elected Governor.

Education in Osun will receive a breath of fresh air once I get elected as Governor. Let’s do this together.,” he said.

Senator Adeleke said he it was indeed ”a thing of joy that we are all now so politically informed that we can demand stewardship from political office holders. If we continue asking for accounts of stewardship, all public servants will sit tight and deliver service full of impact.”
