Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has finally declared his aspiration to succeed his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
This puts to rest several months of speculation over his ambition.
Osinbajo is the latest bigwig in the All Progressives Congress to join the presidential race ahead of the party’s primary next month.
His declaration comes hours after meeting with some governors elected under the platform of APC in Abuja.
In a six minutes video shared online, Osinbajo promised reforms in critical sectors such as infrastructure, economy, judiciary, and social welfare among others.
Other aspirants who have declared their presidential bids in the party are National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, former governor of Imo State, Rocha’s Okorocha, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi among others.
