Former President Muhammadu Buhari has died.
According to a post by Mallam Garba Shehu who was President Buhari’s media aide, the former President died Sunday afternoon in London, United Kingdom.
His post on his X (formerly Twitter) handle reads: “INNA LILLAHI WA INNA ILAIHIR RAJI’UN.
“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”
