The living legend of stand-up comedy in Nigeria, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, popularly called Ali Baba, has announced plans to spend 30 million naira on 30 Nigerian youths as part of events to mark his 30 successful years in the entertainment industry.
Ali Baba, who took to his Instagram page to make the announcement, said the 30 million naira would be given to 30 youths under the age of 30.
The acclaimed founder of stand-up comedy in the country added that each of the 30 youths would receive 1 million naira and invest in their businesses and pay him back after a year without interest.
He urged eligible and interested businessmen to prepare their business plans ahead of the event which would hold on September 30.
“In the days to come….As I kick off the celebration of 30 years on stage as a comedian, I will be revealing how 30 Nigerians below the age of 30 will benefit from my N30 million intervention revolving loan. You need to begin to structure your business now before September 30. What kind of business are you into? Can your business give me back my N1 million if I give it to you without interest in 1 year?” he asked.
