The duo of Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki and Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State must have tried to pull a fast one on the other presidential aspirants of northern extraction on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). The other aspirants are former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, and the renowned banker, Muhammad Hayatu-Deen.
The only foreseeable way of stopping bandit attacks in our villages is deterrence. If the bandits understand that violence awaits them in any village they intend to attack, they will think twice.
