Inline with the mandate of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC) to checkmate vandalization of petroleum pipeline, water board pipes, power cables e.t.c, the Bauchi Command of the NSCDC has paraded 3 suspected vandals of pipeline products in Bauchi.
A statement signed by the public relations officer of the command Garkuwa Adams said the suspects were handed over to the NSCDC command in Bauchi by the Nigeria Army 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi over a suspected case of vandalization .
The arrest was made on February 16 along Bishi-Dindima axis in Alkaleri Local Government of Bauchi state.
The 3 suspects are Yusuf Ahmed 27 of Magaji Quarters Bauchi, Auwal Moh’d Sani 31 of Magaji of Quarters Bauchi and Onoja Samuel 27 of Shadawanka Bauchi.
The statement added that items recovered are J5 vehicle with registration number Bauchi 995 X R. used in carrying the vandalized product, 2 buckets used for scooping the product into the jerrycans and 1 shovel .
Other items includes 56 jerrycans full of PMS (petrol),3-half full of jerrycans and 3-empty jerrycans.
