COVID-19: NCDC Records Zero Fatality for Fifth Consecutive Day


Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Monday announced 135 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

NCDC in a tweet disclosed that the total number of infections in the country so far has risen to 163,330.

The cases were recorded from 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory which recorded 9 cases.

Kwara State led the chart with 37 cases and filled by Lagos with 32 Co firmed infections while Ondo, Nasarawa and Kaduna recorded 23,13 and 7 cases respectively.

Others are Rivers-6, Osun-3, Delta-2, Edo-2 and Borno-1.

No fatality was recorded making it the fifth consecutive day without recording COVID-19 related death in the country.

Death toll remains 2,058 while persons who have recovered have increased to 152,045.

The total number of active cases is now 9,139.
