Nigeria recorded 37 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday which took total confirmed number of infections so far to 164,756.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced this via its Twitter handle on Monday evening.
The cases were discovered in six states as Lagos recorded 26 infections while Ogun returned four positive samples.
Others are Kaduna-2, Rivers-2, Kwara-2 and Edo-1.
Persons who have recovered from the virus rose to 154,963 while death toll remains 2,062 as no fatality was recorded.
NCDC statistics shows further that active cases across isolation centres in the country dropped to 7,731.
