Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday announced 110 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
NCDC in a tweet disclosed that the total number of infections in the country so far has risen to 163,440.
The cases were recorded from 10 states and the Federal Capital Territory which recorded 16 cases.
The states are Lagos-24, Yobe-24, Bayelsa-10, Rivers-10, Kaduna-10, Nasarawa-5, Akwa Ibom-4, Bauchi-3, Edo-3 and Plateau-1.
According to the centre, no fatality was recorded for the day, which makes it a week without any COVID-19 related death in the country.
Death toll remains 2,058 while the number of persons who have been discharged has increased to 153,788.
The number of active cases across isolation centres in the country is now 7,652, NCDC data shows.
