Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, on Monday paid a working visit to the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola to discuss the state of the roads in his constituency, Borno South Senatorial District.
The senator in a statement on Monday said he expressed his worry on the sorry state of the roads, stressing that execution of the projects is important to improving lives in his constituency and the economy of the country.
“Today i paid a working visit to the Hon Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola on the state of federal roads in our constituency, Borno South.
“I expressed my worry on the sorry situations of these roads to the honorable minister.
“To improve on our livelihoods as constituency and economy as a country, we will continued to pressurized relevant authorities to enable these projects see the light of the day.”
He identified the affected roads as Biu- Gombe, Biu- Maiduguri, Biu- Damaturu, Biu- Gombi, Bama- Gwoza- Mubi and Gwoza- Damboa- Buni Yadi, noting that Fashola assured him that the projects will kick-start soon.
