Nigeria has recorded fresh 1,633 cases of coronavirus to take total infections to 120,602, according to the data released Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Saturday.
The cases were recorded in 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory with Lagos State leading the chart.
Lagos recorded 498 cases to take its total infections so far to 44, 580, while Plateau returned 214 positive samples.
Others are FCT-176, Rivers-99, Kaduna-98, Edo-87, Anambra-86, Akwa Ibom-50, Osun-47, Kano-40, Oyo-40, Kwara-39, Ebonyi-28, Niger-28, Taraba-28, Ogun-27, Ondo-21, Ekiti-12, Katsina-7, Borno-6 and Delta-2.
The nation recorded 12 more deaths to take total number of fatalities to 1,502 while recoveries rose to 95,901.
So far, 1,241,230 samples have been tested, a far cry compared to the country’s population of 200million.
