Reno Omokri, former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, has described former governor of Anambra State, Dr. Peter Obi, as opportunistic, for decamping from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labor Party (LP).
Omokri, who spoke on Arise TV today, said Obi left the PDP to the LP because he knew he was going to be disgraced in the PDP primaries as he does not control the delegates from even his state, Anambra.
Omokri added that Obi is ideologically opposed to what the LP stands for. While the LP leans to the left, and is anti-privatization, Obi, who is pro-privatization, is leaving a right-leaning PDP to LP.
