We, therefore, call on Mr. Dare to do the right thing – respect the rule of law and allow the NBBF Statute put to rest any misunderstanding in the Federation with the guidance of his ministry, the NOC, and FIBA, without any interference. The first thing he must do is to reverse the postponement of the electoral process, then comply with FIBA’s dateline of January 31, 2022, to complete the electoral process. This, he should do to avoid derailing the sport that has recently enhanced our soft power on the world stage.
