Tertiary educational institutions in Bauchi State are to benefit from the 2019 Tertiary Education Trust Fund intervention projects.
The TETFUND Executive Secretary, Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro disclosed this when he received the State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed who paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
Professor Bogoro assured the governor that more projects would be awarded in the state public institutions of learning for the development of the state.
The TETFUND boss also pledged his support to the administration of Governor Bala Mohammed by prompt response to request made by the state government for the educational advancement of the state.
On his part, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed acknowledged the contribution of Professor Sulaiman Bogoro to the development of the country’s tertiary institutions.
The Governor who solicited the support of TETFUND for the educational development of the state, noted that his administration would give the desired priority to the education sector.
“Already the state ministry of education has been directed to give a detailed report on the current status of all public schools in the state”.
“This will assist us in charting a course to boost the education sector”.
