Liverpool have suffered their first Premier League defeat in the current campaign, after losing 3-0 to relegation threatened Watford.
The league leaders lost scandalously to Watford at the Vicarage Road to end their hope of ending the season invincible, a record solely held by Arsenal since 2003-2004 season.
The two sides failed to find the back of the net in the first 45 minutes of the encounter but Ismaila Sarr broke the deadlock in the 54th minute.
Sarr doubled the lead six minutes later with a beautiful dink over Allison while Troy Deneey completed the rout in the 72nd minute.
The defeat to Watford ended Jurgen Klopp men’s 18 match winning streakd in the league.
The Reds are still on top of the league table with 79 points as the popular victory took Watford to 17th with 27 points just above drop zone.
